历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：起初黄姓迁居此地，后范姓也迁来，村名叫黄范村；古时有文人讨好皇帝，改称皇万。[1]
明至清末，本村属罗平里。民国时期分属五区、二区，又隶洪林乡下的洪皇镇。1950年设皇万乡，归二区；1952年划入一区，1955年改隶岐余区的洪洋乡。1958年设皇万大队，归起步公社。1961年改属起步区洪洋公社。“文革”期间更名为朝阳大队，设革委会；1980年恢复皇万之名，1983年恢复管委会名称，1984年起改设村委会，仍属洪洋乡。[1]
经济[edit]
本村矿产资源丰富，村民以石材业为主，村里建有一处石材集中加工区，外出经营石材企业的村民也不少。[2]
文化[edit]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2020年6月，本村被确定为「罗源县第四轮第一批（2019年）平安村（社区）」。[1]
