石别村为福州市罗源县白塔乡的一个行政村。村名的来历是村西侧有一块形如鳖的大石头，原称“石鳖”，后演化为“石别”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明至清末，此地归梅溪里；民国时期分属三区，并隶凤寿、凤石等乡。1950年隶五区九溪乡，1958年归城关公社九溪大队。1961年析出，另立石鳖大队，划入城关区应德公社。1965年并入城郊公社，1966年改隶白塔公社。“文革”时期改为革委会名称，1983年复原为大队管委会，1984年改设村委会，隶属白塔乡。[1]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予石别村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
