历史沿革[edit]
明至清末，此地归梅溪里；民国时期分属三区，并隶凤寿、凤石等乡。1950年隶属五区凤坂乡，1952年另立钟下乡；1955年并回凤坂乡，改属洋柄区。1958年分出钟下大队，归城关区管辖。其间一度属城关区白塔公社；后划入城郊公社，1966年改隶白塔公社。1984年改为村委会，属白塔乡。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
据百度百科，禾山风景区位于白塔乡七步自然村，而该自然村属钟下村。景区以花岗岩地貌为主，内有石碣门、天窗洞等岩洞石景。[3][4]
文化[edit]
2024年1月，钟下村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
