白塔乡是福建省福州市罗源县下辖的乡，位于县境西南部，与连江县毗邻，距县城约8公里。全乡辖15个行政村，面积70.86平方千米，1984年由人民公社改设为乡。乡内有禾山风景区、小云宫等名胜，还有中共罗源县应德支部旧址和「中国工农红军北上抗日先遣队罗源（百丈）指挥部旧址」等革命历史遗迹。^[1]^[3]^[4]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属崇德乡。据博雅地名网所载，宋开宝二年（969年）有僧人以白石在此造塔，地因塔得名白塔。明万历至清末，多数村庄属梅溪里，白塔、尖山、埔头三村属西隅里，浿溪则属东隅里。^[2]

民国时期，本地先后划归第一区、第三区，又分属凤山镇、凤寿乡等。1958年5月撤区并乡，白塔乡作为当年设立的二十一个乡之一出现在县内行政区划中。^[2]^[3]

1966年6月，城郊公社中划出的一批大队另组为白塔公社，同年11月改称红塔公社；1981年7月，红塔人民公社恢复为白塔人民公社的名称。进入1984年，全县公社改设为乡镇，白塔公社随之改称白塔乡。^[3]

地理环境[edit]

白塔乡位于罗源县西南部，与连江县毗邻。全乡面积70.86平方千米，海拔约150米，辖15个村委会。104国道穿过乡境，沈海高速公路也经过九溪村一带。^[1]^[3]^[4]^[8]

人口民族[edit]

2019年末，全乡户籍人口为14864人。^[4] 其中梅洋村为纯畲族村，南洋村的村民全部为畲族。^[9]^[10]

产业方面，淡水养殖、茶叶初制与石料加工、香菇保鲜并存。^[1]

文化[edit]

白塔乡于2020年12月被福建省爱卫办命名为「福建省卫生乡镇」，2022年10月被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，2023年2月列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡镇」名单，2025年12月被命名为「第十二批全国民族团结进步示范区」。^[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

禾山风景区位于白塔乡七步自然村，距罗源县城约8公里。景区以花岗岩地貌为主，其间散布四十余处岩洞与奇石景观，其中包括石碣门、天窗洞、蝙蝠洞等景观。据百度百科，景区内仙人祝凡石留有1212年的摩崖石刻，隐峰禅寺则是唐代古迹。^[5]^[1]

小云宫位于小云村水尾，属清代建筑，始建于清道光三年（1823年），现存建筑面积413平方米。正殿为单檐悬山式屋顶，戏台饰有花鸟人物的浮雕。该宫1986年被列为罗源县第二批文物保护单位。^[6]

中共罗源县应德支部旧址在应德村。1930年，罗源人张瑞财在中共连江县委书记杨而菖的介绍下加入中国共产党；1931年5月，全县党员发展到十余人，并在应德设立了中共罗源县应德支部。^[1]

「中国工农红军北上抗日先遣队罗源（百丈）指挥部旧址」位于百丈村。1934年8月12日至14日间，先遣队几位领导人在村中陈家大院整队，并指挥了攻克罗源县城的战役。现址设有展厅、学习厅，并有纪念馆陈列当年的照片与史料。^[7]
