海上村与鉴江村毗邻，共同构成鉴江集镇，是纯渔业村，村民以远近海捕捞为生。[1]

地名由来[edit]

早先住户多是渔民，以船为家，生活在海上，故名海上。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

渔户原以船为家。解放后，政府拨款建房，渔户多数迁上陆地定居。[1]

1958年公社化时设立海上大队。“文革”期间村名曾改为“东海大队”，1981年恢复原名；1983年村中改用管委会，1984年改为村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网载，全村总163户、622人，未注明统计年份。[1]

村民从事远、近海捕捞，也讨小海或外出务工。无污染的天然海蛎是村中的特产。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年8月，海上村入选「罗源县第四轮第二批（2020年）“平安村（社区）”」名单。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名「2021年福建省卫生村」。2024年1月，「2023年福建省卫生村」的命名公布，海上村名列其中。[1]
