地名由来[edit]
村子原是海滩地带，因滩上有可供饮用的淡水而取名井水；方言里“淡”字读作“井”的音。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明至清末，此地隶贤二里；民国时并入第二、第一两区，又归鉴匹镇。1950年划入第三区鉴江乡，1952年改隶鉴江镇。[1]
1958年撤区改社，此地为碧里公社鉴江大队所辖。1961年复区分社，另设井水大队，隶碧里区鉴江公社。1984年改为村委会，仍属鉴江镇。[1]
人口与产业[edit]
博雅地名网载，全村总95户、430人，未注明统计年份。土地总面积2.4平方千米，耕地137亩。[1]
村海域水深，港口条件较好。2020年12月，村子入选「2020年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」名单，产品为鲍鱼。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年1月，村子获评「福州市乡村振兴中高级版试点村」。2021年8月，入选「罗源县第四轮第二批（2020年）“平安村（社区）”」名单。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名「2021年福建省卫生村」。2022年10月，村子被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2022年12月，村子经福建省绿化委员会命名，获「2022年福建省森林村庄」称号。2024年6月，村子入选「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
