上澳村位于鉴江镇，在鉴江村以西的海边平地上，辖上澳、下宅两个自然村。村中食用菌生产较多，外出务工的村民也不少。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村址在海边平地上，位于原镇区鉴江村的西边。当地习惯以西为上，故称上澳。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明至清末，此地隶贤二里。民国年间先后归第二区与第一区管辖，并一度属鉴匹镇。[1]

1950年划入第三区鉴江乡，1952年改隶鉴江镇。1958年撤区改社，村子归碧里公社下的鉴江大队；1961年分出另设上澳大队，隶碧里区鉴江公社。[1]

“文革”期间大队曾改称革委会，1983年改回管委会，1984年改为村委会，仍属鉴江镇。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网载，全村总402户、1645人，未注明统计年份。耕地面积853亩。[1]

食用菌生产是村中的主要产业。2025年11月，村子经认定成为「福建省2025年度省级“一村一品”专业村」，所列产业为水产养殖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

「2021年福建省卫生村」一项，由福建省爱卫办于2021年11月命名。2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅把上澳村认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2022年12月，村子入选「2022年度福州市中级版“绿盈乡村”」。[1]
