鉴江镇位于福建省福州市罗源县东部沿海，东面与霞浦县隔海相望，北接宁德市蕉城区飞鸾镇，南面与碧里乡相邻，镇域辖9个行政村。集镇设在鉴江村一带。[1][3][8]

镇名的来历，据博雅地名网，境内的白马山形似铜镜，称为镜峰，山前海湾称为镜港；闽东方言里“镜”与“鉴”、“港”与“江”读音相近，清末起多写作“鉴江”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

北宋元丰四年（1081年），连江县招贤里一带改归罗源县，此地划入常熟乡。明清两代称贤二里。[2]

民国时期的隶属变动较多：1931年隶第二区，1937年隶第一区，1938年称鉴江乡，1943年称鉴江镇，1946年归入鉴碧镇。[2]

解放后，此地先归第三区，1956年3月起隶碧里区。1958年5月，此地分出鉴江、东湾两个乡，当年10月两乡都并入碧里公社。[2]

1961年5月起称鉴江公社，1965年7月裁区并社后，县政府列出的人民公社中仍有鉴江。[2][4]

1984年复设镇建制。[2]

地理环境[edit]

罗源县行政区划一览表所列鉴江镇面积为74.12平方千米，表中海拔一栏作3米。百度百科所载面积为66.69平方千米，博雅地名网约70平方千米，此处取县政府的数字。[4][3][1]

地势由西向东渐低，白马山为全镇的最高点，高976.1米。鉴江溪发源于白马山，注入鉴江湾。海岸线长26千米。[3]

人口[edit]

百度百科据2019年末户籍人口，记鉴江镇户籍人口13090人。[3]

集镇由海上村与鉴江村毗邻合成，陆上村也是集镇的组成部分之一。海上、陆上两村的村民多是解放后从海上上岸安置的渔民及其后代。[9][14]

经济[edit]

2025年5月，鉴江镇经认定成为「福州市2025年市级农业产业强镇」，鲍鱼为主导产业。[1]

渔村以海带、紫菜和鲍鱼养殖及近海捕捞为主，山地村则以食用菌生产为主，东湾村另养蛋鸭。[9][10][11][12][13]

文化[edit]

罗源县政府网站的民俗篇载，鉴江一带旧时正月初一凌晨，孩童结队到做寿人家拜寿，主人依人头分发红包，并给橘子和糖果作答谢。[5]

环境保护部在2014年6月把「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」的称号授予鉴江镇。2020年12月，镇子经福建省爱卫办命名，获「福建省卫生乡镇」称号。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

鉴江堡城墙一周为300丈，门共有4座，今剩东、南、北三处。这座堡的始建年代是明洪武间（1368—1398年）。[7][3]

井水半岛旅游景区位于井水村，为国家2A级旅游景区，三面环山、一面临海，景区内有“一线天”等海岛风光。[6][13]
