安后村在飞竹镇北部，与古田县、中房镇接壤，离城关约54公里。全村辖安后、樟溪2个自然村，在镇内属较偏远的行政村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

元至正年间，林姓族人在一座尼庵后面拓基建村，取名庵后。“庵”与“安”同音，于是写成安后，并沿用成俗。[1]

明清时期属化一里。民国时期先属第四、第三区，之后归丰斌乡；抗战时期又分属福丰、丰深等乡。解放后分属二区港里乡和八区安后乡，1956年归斌溪乡。[1]

1958年成立安后大队，隶属飞竹公社；1961年归飞竹区斌溪公社管辖；1967年曾改名前进大队，1980年恢复原名，之后仍在飞竹公社内；1984年改为安后村委会，隶属飞竹镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村中森林资源较为丰富，群众以农林生产为主，近年来发展油茶。村中有叶腊石矿，境内有溪坪水库。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2010年，本村被评为市级生态村。[1][2]
