洋头村位于飞竹镇西北部，与中房镇、西兰乡相邻，经142县道离城关约44公里。全村辖洋头、大善、岩下3个自然村，是老区基点村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村依山而居，前面是田洋。村中四百多亩水田连成一片平坦的田洋，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期属重上里。民国前期属第四区，后又属第三区洋深乡，抗战期间分属福丰、洋深、丰深等乡。[1]

解放初期先属第八、第四区，后划入洋柄区。1958年设大队，隶属飞竹公社；1961年改归丰余公社管辖；1965年又回到飞竹公社。[1]

文革期间改称大队革委会，1983年仍称大队管委会，1984年改为村委会，隶属飞竹镇。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，本村出过张光旭，此人是近代基督教界的爱国人士，曾任福建协和大学董事长。[1]

文化[edit]

2010年，本村被评为市级生态村。2023年12月，本村被认定为福州市2023年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为玉米。2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2021年8月，本村列入罗源县第四轮第二批（2020年）「平安村（社区）」。[1][2]
