刘洋村位于飞竹镇中部，沿142县道离城关约33公里。全村辖刘洋、新村、青石外、后际4个自然村，是老区基点村，属水源保护区域范围。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村中刘姓住户居多，村名因此得名。[1]

明清时期属重上里。民国时期分属第四、第三区，并入凤寿、寿竹等乡。解放初设刘洋乡，此后几经调整，1955年划入洋柄区。[1]

1958年此地改设大队，隶属飞竹公社；1961年另归飞竹区管辖；1965年又回到飞竹公社。[1]

文革期间改称大队革委会，1983年仍称大队管委会，1984年改为村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村民依托村中的毛竹林发展毛竹产业，并修建了通村道路、村部和新村自来水等设施。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2021年8月，本村列入罗源县第四轮第二批（2020年）「平安村（社区）」。[1]
