陶洋村在飞竹镇东部，离城关约25公里，由143县道可以到达。全村辖3个自然村，是老区基点村，也是县级党建示范村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

有一种说法：此地原为唐姓族人居住，名为唐洋，后因唐与陶读音接近，才逐渐写成陶洋。[1]

民国时期此地属第四、第三两区，后并入凤寿、寿竹等乡。解放后，1950年先归五区洋柄乡，1952年分出另设陶洋乡，仍隶五区。[1]

1958年撤区并社，这里改设陶洋大队，划归飞竹公社。1961年区制恢复，村属飞竹区飞竹公社，1965年又回到飞竹公社。[1]

文革期间名称曾改为陶洋大队革委会，1983年恢复为大队管委会，1984年改为村委会，隶属飞竹镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村中林地多于耕地。村民发展毛竹生产，近年完成了竹山便道的修建。[2]

文化[edit]

2011年，本村被评为市级生态村。2012年，本村是福州市新农村建设「百村竞赛」在全县的8个试点之一。[2]

2021年11月，本村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。2021年2月，本村入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。2020年6月，本村入选罗源县第四轮第一批（2019年）「平安村（社区）」。2023年12月，本村被认定为福州市2023年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为食用菌。[1]
