厚富村隶属中房镇，四面环山。村内保存有清代的贞节坊、烈女坊和明代始建的水尾亭桥，又有红军医院旧址。村子于2019年6月进入第五批中国传统村落之列。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村子林木丰茂、土地肥沃，村名“厚富”即由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传明末先民自建阳迁来此地，当时这里荒凉一片，先民经过多年耕作，开辟出这个小村庄。[1]

1950年村地属二区深坑乡，1952年改归八区深坑乡，1955年转入中房区深坑乡。1958年撤区设社，分出厚富大队，属中房公社。1961年复区，属中房区深坑公社；1965年仍归中房公社。1984年改为村委会，隶属中房乡。[1]

历史人文[edit]

乾隆年间，村中人勤奋求学，有的中了武举，有的中了文魁，还有人中了进士。[1][2]

村内保存着两座清代牌坊：一座为贞节坊，另一座为烈女坊，后者于1996年被列为县级文物保护单位。[2][3]

村中水尾亭桥始建于明天启七年（1627年），1986年列为县级文物保护单位。[3]

红军医院旧址[edit]

村中的红军医院旧址原址是明代始建的朱氏宗祠，1934年曾经用作红军总医院的厚富分院。[3]

产业[edit]

村中竹木资源丰富，村民利用竹木办起了筷子加工厂。村中水质好，无污染，还办有淡水鳗鱼养殖厂，经营效益较好。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，村入选福建省首批省级传统村落。2021年11月，村获评福建省卫生村（2021年度）。厚富12号于2021年被列为罗源县第四批历史建筑。[1][3]
