东山村是福建省福州市罗源县中房镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西南部，平均海拔约720米，下辖岭头坪、马下、云梯三个自然村。村子西南约三公里处有飞仙岩。[1][2]

位置[edit]

村子东与大园村、洪洋乡穴里村相接，南与西兰乡上洋村交界，西与厚富村接壤，北与深坑村交界。[1]

飞仙岩[edit]

飞仙岩位于村子西南约三公里处，是一座花岗岩山体，一块巨石耸立在山顶，形如一口钟稳立天地之间。[2]

据百度百科，飞仙岩为福建省罗源县西北部的花岗岩山岭，是中房溪、起步溪、寿桥溪等水系的发源地。[3]

传说与景观[edit]

棋乾山脚下有黄婆墓遗迹，相传与一段孝子的故事有关。村中另有蜘蛛洞、临水三宫等景观，也都附有民间传说。[2]

自然资源[edit]

村中山林覆盖率高，木材与毛竹储量丰富。辖区内有国家一级保护树木，如红豆杉、柳杉和千年古杏树；还有国家二级保护动物。矿产以花岗岩为主，并产红色高岭土，有开发价值。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明至清末，村地属重上里；民国时期归四区、三区，并入丰深乡。1950年划为二区深坑乡的一部分，1952年改属八区，同样保留深坑乡之名。[1]

1958年撤区并乡，此地成为深坑大队的一部分，归中房区。1961年分出东山大队，属中房区深坑公社；1965年并入中房公社。1984年改为村委会，隶属中房乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]

村于2024年1月获得2023年度福建省卫生村称号。2021年8月，村入选罗源县第四轮第二批「平安村（社区）」，评定年度为2020年。[1]
