沙坂村是福建省福州市罗源县中房镇下辖的行政村，位于罗源县西北部，距镇中心约1.5公里。村子临溪，村中有明代古建筑，也是老区基点村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子临溪，溪边有一处沙坂，村名由此而来。[1]

位置[edit]

村子距县城约36公里，东邻岭兜村，西邻林家村，三村首尾相距约一公里。全村面临溪流，北靠青山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村地旧称罗源县金沙境丰下里。始祖文立公在元代至顺年间自古田县迁来定居，已有六百多年的历史。[1]

1950年设沙坂乡，隶属二区；1955年并入林家乡。1958年撤区设社，此地成为沙坂大队，归中房公社管辖。1961年恢复区级建制，撤销公社，村地改入中房区岭兜公社；1965年再归中房公社。1984年改设村委会，隶属中房乡。[1]

人物与革命史迹[edit]

据博雅地名网，村人林一岳在明朝嘉靖年间任浙江丽水县知府，为官清正，被后人传颂。[2]

1933年，村民林德胜等人组织群众成立游击队；随后村中成立苏维埃政府。村人林幼开参加革命，1934年在反动派的围剿中被捕，后被杀害，其遗骸葬于县烈士陵园。[2]

建筑[edit]

村中保留着二十多座明代古建筑。林氏祠堂始建于明代，经多次损毁与修缮，现保存较完整。村中还有一口元代所凿的天然古井，井水常年清澈。[2]

新福宫建于明代，现为县级文物保护单位，其建筑叠拱接翘，工艺精细。[2]

产业[edit]

村中竹木资源丰富，以松、杉、竹为主，村中也有茶园。村中黏土可烧制砖瓦，村前溪流一带积存的沙石也为镇内建设提供了大量材料。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年11月，村入选2023年度福州市「绿盈乡村」建设中级版村庄名单；2024年1月，村获得福建省卫生村称号（2023年度）。[1]
