地名由来[edit]
村中有两块大石叠压在一起，村名因此而来。[1]
位置[edit]
叠石村西与满盾村相连，南与下湖村接壤，平均海拔约580米。村中下辖福原自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年成立叠石乡，隶属二区；1955年改属中房区。1958年撤区设社，乡改为叠石大队，隶属中房公社。1961年复区，属中房区下湖公社；1965年仍归中房公社。1984年改大队为村委会，隶属中房乡。[1]
自然景观[edit]
村内有炊云洞、八仙洞和凤凰山等景点。通天洞是一处天然石屋：一块巨石嵌在山顶，底部平坦，成为天然的屋顶。传说此石与邻近山上的一块巨石原是一对飞来石，两石遥遥相对，因称雌雄双石。每年九九重阳，常有游客登山烧香祈福。[2]
物产[edit]
村民利用气候与土壤条件种植茭白，产品销往浙江、广东等地。村中另有茶园，茶树品种有福鼎六号、古老叶茶和绿茶等。[2]
荣誉[edit]
村在2021年11月获得福建省卫生村称号；2020年12月，村又入选福建省「一村一品」示范村名单（2019年度，产品为茶叶）。[1]
