1998年6月，设立水口洋村委会，属起步镇[1][2]。

荣誉[edit]

水口洋村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[1]。

2022年12月，水口洋村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版“绿盈乡村”」[1]。
