前房村辖有一个自然村「富洋新村」，位于主村约200米处。2005年，台风「龙王」引发地质灾害，主村部分村民因此搬迁至富洋新村居住[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年8月，该村在罗源县第四轮第二批平安评选中（评选年度为2020年）获「平安村（社区）」称号；2021年11月，省级爱卫部门授予「2021年福建省卫生村」一项[1]。
