泥田村离罗源县城约十二公里，东侧紧邻「罗源港务万吨货运码头」，西侧连着「开发区北岸工业园区」，「五北战备公路」沿村而过[1]。

村名的来历：这一带的塘田土质黏性大，村因此得名泥田[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年8月，该村在罗源县第四轮第二批平安评选中（评选年度为2020年）获「平安村（社区）」称号；2024年1月，它被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
