方厝村是凤山镇的行政村，位于罗源县东部，距县城约2公里，温福铁路从村中穿过。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子古称方厝塘，原为海面与滩涂，先人在此围海造田，地名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清雍正年间，方氏始祖从福州北岭迁居于此，此后又有周、康两姓陆续迁入。[2]
1950年划入第一区，1952年属第六区，1958年改属城关公社，1961年复称方厝大队，1984年改称村委会，属凤山镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年8月入列罗源县第四轮第二批（2020年）「平安村（社区）」名单；方厝村于2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号，授予方为福建省爱卫办。[1]
经济[edit]
村民以农业或外出打工为主要收入来源，近年来在村内发展橄榄、脐橙、枇杷等果树。[2]
