历史沿革[edit]

村子坐落在江边，地形弯曲如湾，村名由此而来。[3]

1972年设江湾大队，初属坑园公社；1984年改为江湾村委会，属坑园乡；1993年划入下宫乡。[2]

2020年12月，本村入选「2020年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」，主导产业为鲍鱼。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以海水养殖和近海捕捞为主，出产海带、鲍鱼、真鲷、羊栖菜等水产。[1]
