历史沿革[edit]
村子位于下宫乡最里面，从里往外数是第一个村。“下”与“厦”同音，因此改名厦一村。[3]
一说宋朝时有人从宁德西乡迁来定居；博雅地名网概况则记，公元1009年姚氏族人自陕西迁入，此后村落以姚氏为主。[2][4]
1958年设厦一大队，隶属坑园公社；1984年改为厦一村委会，属坑园乡。1993年，它划入下宫乡。[2]
2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
文化[edit]
厦一村的游天官是一项元宵民俗，据称已延续370多年。节日期间，家家张灯结彩、舞龙舞狮，夜里出游祈求平安。[4]
