地名由来[edit]
明代村中多出儒学之士，村名因此取作儒洋。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄在清代属永福乡安庆里。1958年成立儒洋大队，隶属敖江公社。1984年起称敖江乡的儒洋村委会，1997年改属江南乡。[1]

政府网站称，本村的先民中有胡绍峄，他是连江县志所载唯一的探花。[2]
