地名由来[edit]
1960年分村，取“新”字定名为文新村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代时属永福乡安庆里。1984年起设敖江乡文新村委会，1997年划归江南乡。[1]
含光塔[edit]
含光塔又称斗门塔，建于明万历十六年（1588年），由兵部尚书吴文华发起修建。它是八角七层楼阁式红砖古塔，塔高26.87米（为1988年修复后的高度）。[3]
含光塔于2001年1月20日公布为第五批福建省文物保护单位。塔下有含光寺。[3][4]
人口与产业[edit]

荣誉称号[edit]
文新村于2022年12月获福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名，称号为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
