镜路村隶属江南镇，地处县城东南方向约3公里处。村内的四个自然村分别为前坑、树兜、镜路里与白莲下。[1]
地名由来[edit]
先人自外地迁来此处，沿用原村名，故名镜路。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代时此地属永福乡安庆里。1961年设镜路大队，1984年起设镜路村委会，归敖江镇管辖，1997年改由江南乡管辖。[1]
革命历史[edit]
土地革命时期，中共连江特支（行委、县委）曾把机关设在这里，这里是当时的秘密革命中心，也是该时期连江最早设立党支部的地方。[2]
人口与产业[edit]
博雅地名网载，全村约1200人、305户，共分11个村民小组（未注年份）。过去以种植粮食为主，如今不少村民外出谋生，所从事的多为金银加工、服装、建筑等行业。[1]
荣誉称号[edit]
镜路村于2022年12月获福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名，称号为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
