魁岐村隶属江南镇，位于县城南大门，始建于明万历十七年（1589年）。[1]

地名由来[edit]

早年村民多以烧制壳灰为业，清雍正年间改称魁岐，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清雍正年间称魁岐，归新安里管辖。[1]

1961年设魁岐大队。1984年改为村委会，名为敖江乡魁岐村委会；1997年敖江乡拆分后，划归江南乡。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

村内旅外华人、华侨有760人，占现有人口的25%。全村土地面积9000亩，其中山林6200亩。[1][2]
