历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村史，明初河南固始县迁入福建的刘氏后人刘则洪，乘船经过北茭鼻时遇风浪，漂至北石海塘一带上岸，在岗上草搭茅舍定居，初称“岗南”，后改称茭南。[2][6]
1958年，茭南设立大队，隶属黄岐人民公社。1979年4月，黄岐公社划出8个大队，组成苔箓公社，茭南改隶苔箓人民公社；1984年，设立茭南村村民委员会。[2][6]
2022年10月，省农业农村厅将茭南列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2025年11月，被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
