苔菉镇是福建省福州市连江县下辖的镇，位于黄岐半岛末端，三面临海，是福州陆域的最东端。北面隔可门口与霞浦县东冲半岛相望，南面与马祖列岛隔一道水道相对。镇人民政府驻苔菉村。[4] 镇域以海洋渔业为主，海洋捕捞、海水养殖与海上运输是主要的生产方式。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

“苔菉”之名，据博雅地名网所载，因旧时境内多绿色苔藓而来。[6] 唐代此地属永福乡崇德里，宋代称崇德下里，后改为崇德一里；元代归二十六都，直至清末。[1][5]

民国初年，本地归第八区。到1935年，当地为编查保甲，把辖境分作苔菉、北茭、琇垹三个联保，划入第三区署。1940年，三处合为苔北琇乡；1944年6月起，又与黄岐镇并称“黄苔”。[2][5]

新中国成立后，区划几经变动：1949年列入第六区，1952年改属第九区，1955年并入黄岐区，1958年起隶属黄岐人民公社。[2][5]

1979年4月，黄岐公社划出8个大队，另设苔菉公社。1984年6月，公社改建为乡；1992年改设镇制，百度百科记为3月，博雅地名网记为8月。[1][2][5]

镇域陆域面积，百度百科作7.98平方千米，博雅地名网作7.7平方千米，两者均未注明统计年份。[1][2] 气候属亚热带海洋性季风气候。[1]

镇域海岸线漫长，港口码头众多，有“福州最东端”之称。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2019年末，全镇户籍人口为26714人，数字来自百度百科。[1] 博雅地名网所列全镇人口数为23866人，未注明年份。[2]

经济[edit]

渔业是镇里的主要产业。博雅地名网将本镇称为渔业重镇，并列出捕捞、养殖、运输与冷冻加工等门类。[3] 镇内建有国家中心渔港1个，加工产品以虾米、带鱼、鱼丸等为多。[3]

2023年12月，苔菉镇被认定为「福州市2023年市级农业产业强镇」，主导产业为海洋捕捞。[2]

该镇于2024年1月获得「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」称号。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

北茭鼻位于镇域北端，海蚀地貌形成的岩石景观著称，有蛇吻青蛙岩等景点。[9]

平流尾地质公园在镇域东南部、黄岐半岛的东北部，海岸崖壁陡峭，多海蚀平台与岩洞，园址在茭南村。[7][8]

百度百科将虎东岭景区和苔菉妈祖宫列为本镇的著名景点。[1]
