赤才村是福建省福州市连江县黄岐镇下辖的行政村，位于黄岐镇背面，离镇区约9公里，以海水鲍鱼养殖为主。[1]
早先境内泥土多呈红色，因而有赤才之名；聚落成形后，村人又盼望此地多出人才。博雅地名网载全村907人、246户，划为5个村民小组。[1]
鲍鱼养殖[edit]
2000年，部分村民开始在海上试养鲍鱼；2006年前后，大部分村民由传统的海带、牡蛎养殖和海水捕捞转向鲍鱼养殖。经过几年的规模发展，鲍鱼养殖成为村里的主导产业，博雅地名网称赤才村是黄岐镇最大的海上鲍鱼养殖基地。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地从前分别隶属二十六都、黄岐乡与赤才保。1949年至1961年，它归黄岐公社下属的一个大队管辖；1962年另立赤才大队，1984年10月设为赤才村委会。[1]
