蛤沙村是福州市连江县筱埕镇下辖的行政村，位于黄岐半岛西南部，敖江入海处，与马祖列岛隔海相望，距县城约27公里。[1][2]
村名因盛产花蛤而得，村庄建于唐末，明代曾设巡检司并建城堡。近年村口的渔市成为镇内较繁忙的鱼货市场之一。[1][2][3]
地名由来[edit]
村名原为金沙，因村后有状如金狮的大山，两者谐音；明代因海中盛产野蛤，改称蛤沙。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄建于唐末，已有一千多年历史。[2]
明洪武年间，此地设镇，置巡检司，并建造城堡，同时开征渔税。[2]
唐宋时期隶属永富乡；元、明、清三代归二十八都。1940年划入第三区官岭乡，1949年后先后归六个区管辖。1958年7月设蛤沙生产大队，隶属筱埕人民公社；1984年改设蛤沙村民委员会。[1]
人口与地理[edit]
村落面积约1.2平方千米，现全村865户、3085人。[2]
村落背山面海，村前为海湾与岛屿，海岸曲折，沙滩与海域广阔，登高可望马祖列岛。[2]
产业[edit]
养殖、捕捞和海上工程作业是村中的三大支柱产业，养殖品种有海带、紫菜、贻贝、牡蛎等，捕捞以近海为主。[2]
村口的蛤沙渔市是镇内较繁忙的鱼货交易市场之一，平日客流约五六百人，节假日可达上千人。[3]
