东坪村是福建省福州市连江县筱埕镇下辖的行政村，位于黄岐半岛西南突出部，与马祖列岛隔海相望，是全镇唯一的老区基点村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

原名东园，因面朝大海，两侧低丘环抱成湾，湾大地平，取“坪”字（与“平”字同音）改称东坪。[1]

人口与地理[edit]

全村分为十三个村民小组；户数878户，人口3024人。[2]

村庄临近天然良港，是附近渔民避风的首选之一；省二级公路官安线穿村而过。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

唐代隶属永福乡崇德里；宋代归宁善乡崇德下里；元代属连江县二十六都；清代沿称二十七都。[3]

民国初年划入第十四自治区（筱定）；1935年归筱埕第三区署；1940年初归筱定镇，1949年后归第六区。[3]

1955年办起初级农业合作社；1958年7月撤区，改为政社合一的人民公社，即东坪第一营，后改称管理区，再改为东坪大队。1984年6月成立东坪村民委员会，1992年8月随筱埕改为镇。[3]

荣誉与文化[edit]

2024年1月，村庄获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

端午祭习俗2019年列入福州市第五批非遗代表性项目。[4]
