地名与历史沿革[edit]
因位于大埕村村口，故称埕口。[1]
1961年以前隶属大埕大队；同年6月析分，另立大埕口大队；1984年改设埕口村委会。[1]
人口与地理[edit]
全村205户、728人，总面积240亩：陆域40亩，海域养殖面积120亩。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，村庄获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
宫庙与民俗[edit]
村中尚存玄帝宫，博雅地名网称其建于1442年。2005年，村中又建起一座供奉“文物太平王”的新庙。[2]
每年正月十五日村中有庙会，灯笼排列于长街，队伍载歌载舞。[2]
产业[edit]
村民以近海捕捞为主，村中有大小船只百余艘，其中二百五十马力以上的有二十多艘。[2]
