莺头村位于福建省福州市连江县北部，夹在官坂军垦农场与文山军垦农场之间，距县城28公里。村名因地形似莺头而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是地形似一只莺头。莺头大队始设于1958年，隶属官坂公社；1984年组建村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

村内留有清代古民居10多座，民居中有木刻装饰。村中还有祠堂、古井、老街和旧巷。[1]

经济[edit]

村中有不少村民以蘑菇生产为业，形成了村里的特色产业；也有大批村民外出从事建筑工作，足迹遍布全国各地。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年11月，莺头村被命名为「2023年度福州市绿盈乡村建设中级版村庄」。[1]
