人口与姓氏[edit]
博雅地名网所载，村落总面积约2.3平方公里，现有843户、3583人。村中为多姓村落，主要有瞿、曾、陈、郭、张等姓。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
瞿氏始祖自浙江迁入福建，辗转宁德、福州、周宁等地，后在连江卢江一带落脚，最终迁至本村定居，迄今近七百年。[2]
曾氏于清康熙年间迁居芦江一带买地建屋，至今三百余年。[2]
清乾隆十七年（1752年）恩科举人瞿侪鹤，后官至蔚州知州，著有《易经要解》等书。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
涌泉寺始建于唐太宗贞观年间，几经兴废，1992年重修，建筑总面积近二千平方米，寺内有天王殿、大雄宝殿、观音阁等。[2]
瞿氏祖厅建于十三世纪后期，今仅存廊阶、石基、碑刻等遗迹，作为文物保护。瞿氏祠堂始建于明嘉靖八年，2003年重修改建。[2]
村前山上有风动石、蝙蝠洞、三十六洞等天然景观。风动石重达数百吨，以肩托石，巨石即随之摆动发声。[2]
