地名由来[edit]
“辰”与“晨”谐音，取清晨旭日东升之意，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代以前，此地属连江县五贤乡。1958年，辰山成为马鼻公社的生产大队；1984年由大队改为村，设辰山村委会。[1][2]
人口与村落[edit]
博雅地名网所载，全村670户，设19个村民小组。村民多姓陈、黄、何，另有李、严、张等姓杂居。[2]
村落附近浅海滩涂约2000余亩，高洋山、儒宅山等山林地约1800余亩。[2]
经济[edit]
改革开放后，村民大多外出务工，从事建筑的人很多，前后出现了一百多位包工头。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年12月，辰山村由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会授予「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
建筑与景观[edit]
村中的辰山礼堂原名淳安宫，经多次改建，现为三进结构，前座为村委会办公楼与老人活动中心，中座为村民看戏的大礼堂，后座供奉陈靖姑。[2]
村中另有东峰陈氏宗祠、云楼黄氏宗祠和芦江何氏宗祠。村后五座山头向罗源湾延伸，俗称“五龟下海”。[2]
