尖墩村是透堡镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区东部，距镇址约2公里，紧靠罗源湾。村名取自村中三处高起的土墩，博雅地名网列其名为鱼园里、大厝里（墩厝街）与梨园里。[1]

尖墩村是革命老区村，也是抗日战争时期烈士王明星的家乡。全村2008年有50个姓，王姓2500人，占66%。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，先人迁居此处后，开垦土地、围垦滩涂造田，逐步建成村落。[1]

1949年后，此地属连江县第六区管辖，曾设区政府。1958年前后属马鼻公社，为尖墩大队；1984年，马鼻乡设尖墩村民委员会。1990年，本村与马鼻其余7个村分出，组成透堡乡；1992年改为透堡镇。[1]

自然村[edit]

原有上澳自然村，村民已迁到尖墩三叉路一带建房定居；田乾自然村与尖墩连成一片。[1]
