地理环境[edit]
县道长马公路与两条溪流穿过村域，其中一条溪流自东向西南流，另一条自东北流向西南。村子东边是岚下村，西边连东湖镇，南面是下洋村，北边与洪峰村、苏山村相接。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
长龙三家合一的1966年，本地成为一个管理区；至1972年置大队，1984年才改为村委会。[1]
村中的陈氏宗祠，其开祖碧天公晋代永嘉年间入闽，先到宁德，后迁长龙宝仓，后受封济南侯。陈氏宗祠于2005年重建。[2]
陈氏宗祠曾作为革命会址使用，叶飞、宗庄茂、林祥武都曾在祠堂里组织群众投身革命。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中现留有清代古民居7座，祠堂有陈氏宗祠与阮、邱、林三姓的支祠。[2]
寺院方面，本村有开元寺和圣堂寺；三宫坂宫、宜黄境宫与古井也都在村内。[2]
博雅地名网的长龙镇概况称，建庄后湾里有一处「十二扇厝」，是保存较完好的明清古民居。[3]
经济[edit]
村中特色农副产品有蘑菇、茶叶、茭白和蔬菜，销往各地；山上产松、杉、竹等，竹笋可制成各类笋干。[2]
文化[edit]
第一批国家森林乡村的名单上有建庄村，时在2019年12月。2022年10月，建庄由福建省农业农村厅确认为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。福州市把本村定为2022年度中级版「绿盈乡村」之一，时为当年12月。[1]
