文朱村位于丹阳镇西北部，平均海拔630米，辖区内有7个自然村。[1]

村名的由来是村中有一块大红色的石头。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

清代村子属名闻乡安义里管辖，1961年称文朱大队，1984年改为文朱村委会。[3]

解放前，陶铸、叶飞、杨平衡等革命家曾在村中成立组织，村庄因此成为革命老区基点。[2]

1999年起，村子实施「造福工程」整体搬迁，2006年前后完成搬迁；历史沿革页则称2009年全村迁入文朱新村。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

后埭许氏宗祠建于唐代，2000年又重建。[2]

村中另有后悌庙、蔗头庙、文朱庙、西洋庙、庄里庙和观音山庙等庙宇。[2]
