旺庄村是丹阳镇西部的行政村，村名取兴旺发达之意。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地隶属名闻乡安义里。1949年8月14日丹阳解放后归第五区，1955年划入丹阳区。[1][2]

1961年设旺庄大队，1990年迁至新址。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中林氏宗祠于1994年由林氏家族集资修建，占地约四百平方米。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，旺庄村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
