地名由来[edit]
早年，溪对岸陡坡上有一户农家，猪仔繁多，猪栏地方不够，便搬到溪这边垒台饲养，聚落由此逐渐形成。“祠”与方言里的“饲”同音，村名遂为祠台。[1]
