门边村又名龙门胜境，位于闽江口北岸边沿，东与长门村接壤，南临闽江，与琅岐岛遥遥相望，西连琯头街区，北倚金山。[1][2]

村址位于琯头街区的东侧，大门边上，村名由此而来。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年设门边大队，1984年此地成为门边村委会。[3]

人文[edit]

村中在解放前有人任北岛渔盐局局长，解放后村内出过不少学子。[1]
