此地原为江面，江水退后露出一处屿头，村名因此得名。[4]
历史沿革[edit]
村始建于明朝时期。1958年这里是琯头公社的拱屿大队，1984年改组为村委会。[3]
文化[edit]
村内的「纯如轩十番古乐」入选福建省非物质文化遗产名录，并获评市级党性教育基地。[5]
荣誉[edit]
村先后获县年度平安建设先进集体、镇先进党支部等称号；村为省级三资管理示范点，并获「全国妇联基层组织建设示范村」「妇女之家」称号。[1]
