洋西村是东岱镇下辖的行政村，位于云居山东麓，在镇区南面，距东岱镇约3公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：村子位于平原西边，本地方言把「原」也叫作「洋」，因此得名洋西。[1]
洋西村原属龙山村管辖；人民公社化后期划归湖里大队，1981年与湖里大队分村，设立洋西大队；1984年改为洋西村委会。[1]
2022年10月，省农业农村厅把洋西村认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子北面与龙山村相邻，201省道从村前经过，南面通往晓澳镇与道澳村。[1]
人口[edit]
全村232户、768人，分为10个村民小组，村民代表30人。[1]
经济[edit]
村民以农业为主，种植大头菜等作物。[1]
2023年12月，洋西村被认定为福州市2023年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为大头菜；2024年11月，又被认定为2024年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（大头菜）。[1]
2024年6月，洋西村入选「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
