东北街社区位于凤城镇东南方向，辖区东与绿茵村接壤，北与凤尾村相连，社区名因街道多位于东北部而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

居委会的组建时间，博雅地名网概况页记为1952年4月；其历史沿革页则提到1984年建立东北街居委会，2009年转为社区居委会。[2][1]

文化大革命期间，此前叫反修街的街道改称东北街。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

文山章氏祠堂坐落在尚武巷1号，可追溯到明朝中叶，2000年6月经过修建。一真堂建于民国十一年，由僧人性清改建自一处私人谷仓。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把「2021年福建省卫生社区」授予东北街社区；2024年12月，社区入选「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单；2025年5月，又入选「2025—2026年全国示范性老年友好型社区创建名单」。[1]
