凤城镇是福建省福州市连江县的镇，县人民政府驻地在此，位于敖江下游北岸的小盆地上，东、西、北三面与敖江镇接壤，南与江南镇相邻。镇内现有12处县级以上文物保护单位。[1][9]

历史沿革[edit]

战国时期，此地是温麻船屯所在。西晋泰始年间，船屯在城东的伏沙（今敖江镇白沙村）升格为温麻镇；直到唐天宝元年（742年），镇治才搬到现在的位置。[1][3]

明嘉靖三年（1524年），蔡潮以参政身份主持修建四门城楼。城墙的筹建由乡绅游连等人在1540年提出，次年冬天完工。宋至清代，城区与附近村落曾合编为宁善乡。[1][3]

1952年设第十区公所，此后称城关区。1955年撤销区制改设镇，1958年并入敖江人民公社；1961年重设城关公社，1980年成为城关镇，1982年才定名凤城镇。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

全镇总面积19.5平方千米，其中镇区面积约8.7平方千米。[1][2]

文物古迹[edit]

仙塔位于仙塔街，为唐代建造的楼阁式八角石塔，二层，高9.2米，以花岗石砌成。塔始建于唐大中三年（849年）。1961年，连江县将其列为「连江县级文物保护单位」；2009年，它又被公布为「福建省第七批省级文物保护单位」。[4][5]

厦王里孙氏民居位于八一六西路，建于明代早期，出自明代监察御史孙钦与其兄孙钧之手。它原有四进院落，现存的是第二、三进。2018年，它被列入「福建省第九批省级文物保护单位」。[4][6]

厦园里孙察院故居位于西北街八一六西路北侧，是明代中早期的民居。据孙氏族谱，其营建时间约在明洪熙至宣德年间。[4]

魁龙坊位于玉荷西路，是省级历史文化街区，街区内的古民居时代跨越明、清与民国。[7]魁龙坊女儿井在游琏故居第三进东侧，魁龙坊井兜井在西北街爱国路115号旁，凤城观音阁在西门路189号，三处都属于「连江县第十批县级文物保护单位」。[4]

余厝墓为明代墓葬，位于东南街（下里街）尚武巷。墓冢设在一座硬山顶的五开间房屋正中。[8]

温麻庙始建于西晋太康三年，妈祖庙则为清康熙三十八年移建，两者同列于镇内的古迹之中。[1]

位于东门兜、靠近连江第一中学的元帅府，即「共青团连江县第一次代表大会旧址」。1931年3月23日，县第一次团代会在城东岳庙田都元帅府内召开。[4]
