尚锦村是闽侯县小箬乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境东北部，距乡政府约15公里，距县政府50多公里。下设四个自然村，依次是格洋、大北、堡坪与洋下。[1][2]
村名与村中陈氏的渊源有关：陈氏祖先原来自闽清二十六都，迁居于此，最初称此地为膏洋境。宗祠前有一条溪，名尚锦溪，村名由此而来。[1]

村中人口2150多人，其中党员41人。山地9347亩，耕地2345亩。近年来大多数村民外出务工，留在村里的多以种植反季节蔬菜为生。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
原为尚锦乡，之后改设大队，1984年转为村民委员会建制，延续至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年12月，村里列入「第二批国家森林乡村」名单。[1]
