小箬乡是福建省福州市闽侯县下辖的乡，位于县境西北部的半山区，地处闽江下游东岸，乡政府驻小箬村，辖8个行政村。[2][3]

乡名的来历与当地的箬竹有关。背山面水的村落旧时以出产箬竹著称，乡因此得名。[5]

1996年9月，经福建省民政厅同意，从洋里乡划出8个行政村设立小箬乡，次年5月正式挂牌成立。[1][6]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带在宋代隶属侯官县西太平乡的仁德里，元明清时期归二十四都管辖，民国时期又归大湖区的洋箬乡管理。抗战期间的1940年，小箬一带划入闽清县，三年后回到闽侯县。新中国成立之初，这里归九区的大湖管辖；1951年4月，双大乡和洋箬的部分村庄另立第十一区，区政府设在小箬。1956年并入白沙区，两年后改由洋里公社管理，1984年7月设洋里乡后随之归属，直到1996年才另设乡。[5][6]

地理环境[edit]

乡境内有外福铁路穿过，316国道也经过这里。东面和北面与洋里乡接壤，南面与闽清县交界，西面隔闽江与闽清县城相望。乡政府距闽侯县城约46公里。[5][6]

面积的数字各家有异：闽侯县人民政府网站（2025年）与博雅地名网均作41平方千米，百度百科作46平方千米。[3][5][1]

闽侯县人民政府网站2024年11月的报道称，闽江流入闽侯县境后，首先到达的乡镇便是小箬。[4]

闽侯县人民政府网站在2025年10月发布的行政区划介绍中，称全乡人口1.14万人。百度百科载，2019年末户籍人口为9997人。博雅地名网的数字是10241人、2303户，时间定在2000年；它另标注人口约4585人，未注明年份。[3][1][5]

别称[edit]

博雅地名网称小箬乡曾有「小香港」之称。闽侯县委书记2024年11月到乡里调研时，也提到「闽江边小香港」的故事。[5][4]

文化遗存[edit]

乡内的牛头山遗址位于湖柄村的牛头山上，属新石器时代遗存，堆积以贝丘为主，列为「福建省第十一批省级文物保护单位」。[7]
