境内塘里溪穿村而过，村因溪名称作“塘里”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

公社化时期隶属管理区，1980年独立设立大队，1984年设立塘里村村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的廷坪塘里桥建于1951年，为单孔木拱廊桥，东西走向，全长28.8米，宽4.4米，是存世不多的木拱廊桥。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年6月，塘里村入选「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]

塘里村被列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，认定单位为福建省农业农村厅，时间为2022年10月。[1]
