黄埔村位于福建省福州市闽侯县廷坪乡境内，村名来自穿村而过的黄埔溪。[1]
地名由来[edit]
黄埔溪穿境而过，溪水绕行群山之间，流量较大。雨季时水流湍急，夹带大量黄土；“浦”与“埔”通用，于是称作黄埔。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
原为黄埔乡辖地，公社化时隶属黄埔管理区；1969年设大队，1984年起由村民委员会管理。[1]
