历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，此村建于明嘉靖四十二年（1563年），初名玉墘，此后改为现名。[2]

1980年组建大队，1984年成立村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子东面是箬洋村，西侧依次为大坪与双溪，南边挨着洋山村，北边则是新塘村。全村7423亩，耕地1059亩，山地4545亩。[1]

2019年12月，马墘村列入第二批国家森林乡村名单。[1]

据百度百科，2017年村内引进了牡丹种植项目，并由农民成立合作社经营，借此带动了贫困户就业。[2]
